License Information – Residential Contractor
Florida’s Certified Residential Contractors (CRC) provide construction, remodeling, repair, and improvement services to homeowners of one-, two-, and three-family residences, not more than two stores in height, as well as any associated accessory structures like a garage, shed or guest house.
Last year in Florida there were over 68,000 permits pulled for new privately owned one- and two-family residences; that doesn’t even include remodeling jobs! According to the Joint Center for Housing Studies by Harvard University, the rebound in homeowner improvement spending has lifted the remodeling market back to nearly $300 billion nationwide.
