Steps To Success![]()
The Florida State Contractors Examination is an open book test utilizing each of the 14 State "Exam Reference Books". The information covered on the exam is not difficult, but there is a lot of it. There are over 8,000 pages in these books and there is a time limit for completion of the test. In order to pass, you need to understand the material currently being covered on the exam and be able to locate required information from these reference books, quickly and efficiently.
Step One:
Step Two: Practice using your tools. You need to practice working with these Reference books, finding correct answers and solving problems. We review the Florida State Exam each and every time it is given and our interactive "Study Questions" Software will be very similar to the questions you will see on your exam. Each question or problem in our state-of the-art-learning-software is accompanied by an explanation and/or "Narrated Solution Presentation". These explanations and Animated Presentations will ensure that you learn how to work through each problem and find the correct answer to each and every question. In the event that you do not fully understand any material, you are encouraged to call us at your convenience. One of our instructors will be happy to review or explain any items and tutor you personally on any subject in question.
Step Three: Develop speed and efficiency. Time is of the essence on exam day. Our "Flash Card Review" Software is designed to help you develop and hone your search procedures so you will be able to locate the correct answers quickly and efficiently.
Step Four: Prove you are ready for the job. You can test yourself in the convenience of your own home, at any time with our "Practice Exam" Software. A typical exam will be created using the same content criteria that is used for the Florida State Contractors Exam. Answers selected along with time spent on each question will automatically be tracked for “Student Performance Assessment”. A new set of typical exam questions will be randomly-computer-generated each and every time you launch a test.
Step Five: Review any area of weakness. Our "Practice Exam" Software will compare your “Average time spent per question" against "Maximum Exam Time Permitted" along with individual Scores broken down by Exam Content Category. A graphical representation will be displayed allowing you to easily pinpoint and isolate areas of weakness for review and ensure you are ready for the job on exam day.
Step Six: "Pay Day". Pass your exam. Get your License. Start earning those Big Checks. There is tons of work out there and not nearly enough good contractors to go around. Start getting your piece of the pie. You will pass. Your Success is Guaranteed. |
